Dhaka Electric Supply Company Ltd. (Desco) – the leading electricity supplier in Bangladesh – is planning its new headquarters in the capital, Dhaka. The 25,000 square meter sustainable building is to be completed by mid-2021. Drees & Sommer is supporting Desco HQ project with Facade Technology, Energy Consulting, and Building Services Engineering.

Additional value

Special features include low-emissivity facade glazing, which ensures low thermal radiation, and a greywater recycling system. The new building will accommodate approximately 900 Desco employees.
